Yezdi Roadster Price:
The Yezdi Roadster comes in two series: Dark and Chrome. Under the Dark range, the Smoke Grey costs Rs 1,98,142, whereas the Steel Blue and Hunter Green are priced at Rs 2,02,142. The Chrome range includes Gallant Grey, and Sin Silver colour options, both pegged at Rs 2,06,142. All prices ex-showroom Delhi.
Yezdi Roadster Features:
The Yezdi Roadster comes with a full digital instrument cluster with real time mileage indicator, distance to empty, gear position indicator and other run-of-the-mill information. The Roadster Dark series features a blacked out theme with bar-end mirrors and a short flyscreen whereas the Chrome range gets metal finish on the powertrain and exhaust, and also features a tall windscreen for optimum wind protection. This variant gets conventional mirrors instead of the bar-end ones. Both variants get a cushioned backrest for better pillion comfort.
Yezdi Roadster Engine:
The Yezdi Roadster is powered by a Jawa Perak-derived 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, churning out 29.7PS at 7300rpm and 29Nm at 6500rpm. Compared to the bobber, the Roadster’s engine has been tuned differently to suit the character of the bike. It works alongside a 6-speed transmission.
Yezdi Roadster Suspension & Brakes:
The Yezdi Roadster employs a telescopic fork with 135mm wheel travel, and twin rear shock absorbers with 100mm wheel travel. Braking is via a 320mm front and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The ABS gets Road, Off-road and Rain modes as standard.
Yezdi Roadster Rivals:
The Yezdi Roadster goes directly against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Other alternatives in the price bracket include the KTM 200 Duke, Honda H’Ness CB350, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and the Jawa Forty Two 2.1.
